What’s the cause for my excessive use of the f-bomb you might ask? Well, Lena, in all of her Helga Oblong glory, wrote a letter in the Hollywood Reporter apologizing to Aurora Perrineau for initially defending her friend, and Aurora’s alleged assailant, Murray Miller in 2017. She admits that she lied, and she had no insider information outside of her “blind faith” in someone she called “brother.” Lena writes that she made an inexcusable mistake, and that Aurora has been in her mind and heart all year long. I have never seen such a narcissistic, condescending and facetious apology in my entire life, and this includes the fake ass apology that Macklemore texted to Kendrick after unjustly winning the Grammy for Best Rap Album. We don’t believe you girl!
It’s bullshit like this that forces women to continue to hide in the shadow and struggle with trauma instead of coming forward to stand in the light and heal. We can’t always put the blame on men. Yes, they play a huge part in the continued shaming and blaming of sexual assault victims, but there are women who are just as guilty. There are women like Lena Dunham. They will wear their pink pussy hats and write feminist blogs, but still refuse to believe that their friends, brothers, fathers, or husbands could be guilty of hurting another person simply because they’ve never been hurt by them.

This trash ass excuse of a human being just admitted that she publicly lied in an effort to discredit the accusations of another woman and now all of a sudden, you’ve been thinking about her every day? Suddenly, your love is THAT deep for Aurora Perrineau? Now, you see her, you hear her, and you believe? Girl, miss me with that bullshit. You only care about you and your PB and J looking Otter ass self. The fact that you spent most of the article writing about situations where you were the victim instead of just apologizing is further proof. “Look at me, I’m a victim too so you really can’t be that mad at me!” Yes, we can because you’re clearly using the pain of a woman of color as a tool for your own development and growth. Aurora shouldn’t have had to suffer because you can’t confront your own trauma and demons in a healthy manner. Fuck You. Truly, I wonder what made Lena decide to write this apology after all this time, especially in such a public forum? Does she have a new show premiering soon? You know, one where she will take every opportunity to show her body in a proclaimed statement of liberation when we really know it’s just her low self-esteem and body confidence shining through. Maybe she had another incident similar to the one she had with Odell Beckham, Jr and someone she fancied mistook her for the cockroach in Men in Black instead of an actual human being. Or maybe, just maybe, she got word that Aurora was coming for that ass, and this is all a part of the Lena re-branding campaign. I don’t know. Whatever it is, it’s fake and I don’t believe it. Honestly, it reminds me of an abusive ass relationship where your partner treats you like dirt and then comes home the next day with a dozen roses, a pint of Talenti and some Jodeci worthy “baby, please forgive me’s.”
