I Don't Like Kim Kardashian
I haven't even written anything and I'm already irritated. This picture was just taken last night and once again, Kim is out here rocking a hairstyle and not giving credit where it's due. Same ish, just a different day. I could go on and on about Kim and her cultural appropriation but that's not what this is about. It's about Kim Kardashian West feeling herself a little too much these days and being way out of pocket. It's actually been going on for a while now but it's at the point where she needs to be read for filth.
Looking back on the timeline of events, I think everything started unraveling when Amber Rose, Kim K, and the other sister started having a war of words via Twitter. I'm going to spare all of the details because it's not important but just know that Amber does not back down. Say what you want about her but she's always owned who she is and that's why I'm a fan. This particular incident involved Amber calling Kim out for using feminism as an excuse to post her everyday nude selfies.
"I don't know u well but I saw u speak about slut shaming and as u know I'm an activist feminist so it spoke to me. Being slut shamed and ridiculed is not fun, it's hurtful and mean. Us women deal with it every day, and I'm happy u can speak openly on this now, because if anyone knows what it's like to be Slut Shamed it's u! Live it Kim! Make a difference and speak on it! Not only when it's convenient for u, but when u can help others."
Not one lie was told in her statement. Not one. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with nudity. In fact, I think a woman’s body is a work of art and should be praised at all times. Kim gets naked to seek attention and practices a "pick me" lifestyle. It's getting to the point now where I'm more familiar with her body than my own. I mean, she posted a picture of her naked in a tree with boots on with no explanation. Why? If you want to be naked then do that on your own time but don't cry foul and try to rile up support from feminists when it's not something you really believe in. She doesn't stand for anything and I don't think she's ever spoken up about women's rights so leave the work to the experts. Amber's response was justified and I really admired her for having the courage to speak out because that family is known for trying to shut people up with legal jargon and lawyers.
I try not to blame wives for the actions of their husbands because men in general need to do better. Kanye is losing his mind once again on Al Gore's internet and Mrs. West couldn't help herself. Instead of taking the time to say something meaningful in response to his rants, she just ended up with egg on her face.
Kanye's idiotic statements about Trump and slavery has caused severe financial damage to the Chicago based charity he started in honor of his mother, Donda West. When one of Kanye's closet friends, Rhymefest, tried to reach out to him about it, Kim took it upon herself to clap back, calling Rhymefest whack, saying he was wearing fake shoes, and that she was going to take that charity from him and give it to her children. What does any of that have to do with your husband riding for an egotistical sociopath? That was my final breaking point.
How dare she say you are going to take a charity from someone who has been out here doing the real work while you are taking selfies all day? What work have they been doing for that charity and for the children of the South side of Chicago? There have been many Chicago natives in the news that have said Kanye hasn't done anything for their neighborhood but yet Mrs. West wants to give this charity to her children, who will never experience a day of struggle in their life, as if it's some toy to be passed down.
And to add the icing on the cake, Kim has said many times loudly and ignorantly that she plans to teaching her biracial children not to see color which is coded language for "I don't feel like dealing with racial issues so this is the easy way out." Am I wrong to think that she has a responsibility to teach her children how this world works and how they will be viewed?
Do I admire Kim's hustle and the way she turned an embarrassing situation into a million dollar empire for her family? Absolutely but it ends there. She's problematic AF and her continued disregard for issues facing black people (she's married to a black man and has black children) is bothersome. When Kanye was out here making troll-like remarks concerning slavery, her only concern was that they were going to lose the money and the fame. So, everything else was null and void? Got it.
Kudos to her for helping Alice Marie Johnson get her sentence commuted. She didn't deserve to be serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug conviction and neither do countless others. Kim could have reached out to local organizers who've been working on these issues for years and really gotten her hands dirty. Not everyone has the money or the white privilege to have a meeting with the President. Must be nice.
I can't lie, I used to be a fan of that family and their crazy antics but they have evolved into money hungry culture vultures that I refuse to support. All of their ideas and business ventures come from black people anyway so why do they need my money? Not when there are plenty of other women who own businesses that I can stand behind and cheer for. Stay in your lane, Mrs. West. One day, you're gonna pop off at the wrong one and really lose it all.
